Tip 1: Thinking you can cover up a smell?
Powdered carpet deodorizers may not be as innocent as they have been painted to be. They can sometimes cause carpet discoloration. Tip 2: A little trick you might find useful: To get wax out of carpet first remove as much wax as possible from the face fiber. Next, wet the carpet with a small amount of water. Then place a terry cloth towel over the spot and, using a steam iron on the lowest steam setting, iron over the towel. The wax will melt and transfer up into the towel. |

If you have recently purchased your carpet, read your warranty carefully. It may stipulate when and by what method you must have your carpet maintained. Failure to heed the standards will void the warranty. |
